It’s your favorite day of the week, Wine Down Wednesday!
First, I want to say thank you to all of the readers that look forward to Wine Down Wednesday. I figured that if we can connect over anything, we can connect over wine and the celebration of a halfway finished week!
To be honest, we’re constantly keeping wine in the house to share with friends, with each other, or for me to just drink after a crazy day .with the kiddies.
Duplin can be seen in the fridge 80% of the time. Because of this I probably should do some diy project with all of the Duplin corks I’ve saved.
So this week, journiers, in honor of all the corks you know we have to drink Duplin.
With two locations, one including Myrtle Beach, this wine is the heart of North Carolina (at least to me it is). The winery dates back to the 1970s and today sells over 450,000 cases a year. Let’s just say their resume definitely checks out.
Hatteras Red is a Muscadine Wine, very sweet, and pairs well with any day of the week. The bottles sell for less than ten dollars, most locations selling it anywhere from 6-8 dollars.
Color: Soft red
Taste: Sweet and fruity, muscadine
Pair: When chilled, goes great alone or with any meal.
After a long week, you deserve to take some time to yourself. Let’s just say that Hatteras and Carolina Red has gotten me through many Wednesdays, so I know you’ll love it for your journey through the week!
